The New York training centers are a lot of power points and low on quality.
The NYBI has my CCNP class (which I reluctantly taught again :) (see nybi.org).
ZERO power points... just my own knowledge and daily experience with the "tech" (to quote my friend L. Ron) to make the students "Clear" enough to pass their exams.
After I'm done the CCIE SECURITY lab this year - who knows - maybe we'll do the CCIE R/S and CCIE SEC in there also...
Here is a screen shot of the board at the end of the evening. The students configure what we go over and we debug and learn why we are doing something the whole way through :)
So to answer your question though, I hear the other schools (Netcom & Provision) just have the instructors reading from power points as the student's take notes...
NYC is always a racket you should know that!
Would you buy baby formula from the back of truck? That's NYC!

Subject: CCIE Sec bootcamp
Dear colleagues,
I was looking for CCIE Security bootcamp conducted either online or in NYC (because of the corporate requirements). IPexpert seems to be the only one offering these services in 2013-2014. Looks like most of the training companies prefer West Coast and only go as far East as Chicago or RTP.
Cisco CCIE 360 Security program is nowhere to be seen, and no ETA is given by the vendor.
Did I miss any vendor, offering or announcement on the subject?
Regards,
Andrew
