If Cisco will decide to take the R&S and Re-name / Retire as I see it that
will not make for me any less or more of a CCIE, and in case it would be
exactly the same as the R&S already, I will jump on the bargain of having 2
for 1.
Think about it that way, guys that have done v3 jump to new cert will not
be very big (according to what you say), and if you had v1 or v2 then I
would expect them to make that update any how, CCIE is a professional
certification and not academic that nature of a professional certificate is
that it is always need to be updated according to market and technology
changes.
