Hi Vishal,
MPLS is indeed a "layer 2.5" protocol, which means the MPLS header sits
between the L2 header and the L3 header. Within the MPLS header itself you
have one or more MPLS labels referred to as a label stack. Certain MPLS
applications like L3 VPN and AToMPLS work by using more than one label in
this stack.
