Switchport MAC address

Hi,

I have a cisco series servers connected to one of my switchport. But my
switchport is not learning the mac address from that. it just shows ffff. not
sure why is it sending ffff as its own source address. tried clearing the mac
table for that interface. still issue. Can i try anything else before i do a
firmware restart on my server?
