I am not against a chinese company doing any business here, we have been
using their products for ages, but i am against any company/country
infringing
on Ciscos intellectual property and/or copying any other product/s made
else where and selling it much cheaper than *your cost*.
There are lots of other companies that compete against Cisco and I don't
think anyone is against that, but this company was clearly in
violation of Ciscos
intellectual property and they lost the case in court (From what i
believe). This is not the first time that companies (Small or large) have
adversely effected a business here in US or Au or anywhere else for that
matter.
Few years ago I received an email from this guy in this particular country
asking me if i would like to purchase a printed version of MY books for
$50. NOW.....what do you say to that? You have no jurisdiction in that
country, so what do you do?
I honestly think it's about time someone talks about doing something about
it.
