autoinstall and his friends

hey guys..

I'm testing auto-install and I don't understand many things.. actually
related to auto-install more than auto-install itself.

1) I've understood (correct me if wrong) that auto-install is something
automatic.. I only have to provide connectivity and enable services so that
router can autoinstall itself. Right?

2) Autoinstall needs: connectivity, a dhcp that releases an ip, a dhcp that
releases a tftp ip/name

3) Autoinstall works on ethernet as well as on serial interfaces (but just
the first one.. ex: se0/0)

4) If dhcp is not on the same segment I've to provide the helper address to
forward bootpc request to server

4.1) Autoinstall starts whenever a router is new or better it misses the
startup-config. Correct?

5) Autoinstall works on frame-relay/hdlc/ppp

6) on ppp the only way to assign a dynamic ip with parameters is ipcp, but
this does not release a tftp address. Am I wrong?

7) on frame-relay back to back how can I assign an ip and the tftp option?
I've tried dhcp and is not working

thanks for your help guys.. I've checked the conf guide but I wasn't able
to put together these info
