Good explanation, thanks for reminding
In my opinion, it is important to remember is that "switchport nonegociate"
command doesn't stop the local device using DTP, but instead it stops the
reply to a DTP request (& so a remote device won't be able to negociate a
trunk if the local device is set to "nonegociate")
If you want your local interface not to negociate, just force to "switchport
mode access" or "switchport mode trunk"
