From the reference, it says the "switchport nonegotiate" command will
not send DTP packets out the interface (vice stopping the reply).
Would it do both? Or would it reply to requests but just not send?

"When you enter the switchport nonegotiate command, DTP negotiation
packets are not sent on the interface. The device does or does not
trunk according to the mode parameter: access or trunk."
