Hi Shekhar
After further testing for what you need, order "ip services" license as
1.lan base will not support l3 interface for your normal switchports i.e
gig 1-24 will not accept "no switchport" where as with ip services license
it does (only int fa/0 which is 10-100 port at the rear will support l3 for
lan base **did not test the 10gig uplink ports as I don't have the
module**) this means you can only setup hsrp on the fa/0 interface
2.ip sla sets up fine but for object tracking it will not work with lan
base license, ok with ip services
3.static routes work on both licenses
*ipbase*
CAT4(config)#do sh run | s ip sla
ip sla 1
icmp-echo 10.1.1.1 source-interface GigabitEthernet1/0/1
threshold 2
timeout 1000
frequency 5
ip sla schedule 1 life forever start-time now
CAT4(config)#track ?
% Unrecognized command
CAT4(config)#int g1/0/1
CAT4(config-if)#no switchport
Command rejected: not allowed on this interface.
*ipservices*
CAT3(config)#track ?
<1-1000> Tracked object
resolution Tracking resolution parameters
timer Polling interval timers
CAT3(config)#int g1/0/1
CAT3(config-if)#no switchport
CAT3(config-if)#
strange as feature navigator suggests that lanbase & ip services both
support enhanced object tracking but doc suggests no support with
lanbase....
