Re: Passive inteface on RIP

Distribute-list would be the only way, but remember, passive-interface for RIP only controls outbound advertisements. The neighbor statement within RIP changes the peering from multicast to unicast, but still advertises all networks within your network range outbound (overriding the passive command on that interface).
