Sure, you can bring whatever you want, you just have to leave it at the back of the room on the table.

Lunch is mandatory, so why not take advantage of the "free" lunch. SJC has a good variety and you get a $12 voucher to use as you please. In fact, I attribute part of my mind clarity to the Red Bull's I bought on the voucher!
