SJ has red bull? that's it i knew i should of striked. i'm a cisco employee
and was based at brussels for 6 months (on the same floor of the lab, my
access card opens every door except that one :) ) and there's no red bull
here. had to rely on diet coke!
food in brussels isn't as wide a selection. there's a grill section for
meat thats grilled to order usually steak, chick and pork as well as a fish
(usually salmon. then there's a pasta station and then a differing choice
(different meal types based off of the day) . the desserts are the best
thing in the brussels lab.
i don't think thye mind own food so long as its put on the desk at the
start (so you don't look like your rummaging for notes etc) and that its
quiet (i.e chewy nutrigrain cereal bars are probably fine, bags of
crisps/chips not so). i've also had no problem bringing in own drinks
(think they say they must have a lid but i have gotten away with red bull)
. There is a separate break room so that should have a fridge to store your
lunch, if not there is a fridge in the communal break room just outside of
lab i'm sure if you asked really nice they would let you put lunch in there
(but not touch it till lunch)
