There were several cisco certifications for Fibre optics, however I know that they retired them all in 2007. I have not seen any official courses, or new certifications since 2007. Just do a google or bing search for Cisco optical certifications and you will find the old certification tracks, most of the books are out there and still very pertinent to today's networks. If you wanna know more of the transport optical just research. Fujitsu sonet, infinera sonet/dwdm/cwdm, huawei, adva optical, or check out telecomm ramblings dot com. Good luck hope this helps.
