Thanks Tony. I really do enjoy it ;-) Teaching the first troubleshooting
bootcamp this week live here in Bellevue, WA has been a really fun class.
It actually takes us roughly 7 to 8 hours to go over each lab. We go over
how to quickly determine what is causing the issue in the ticket, all
possible solutions, what solutions work within the restrictions,
verification of the solution, how the ticket would be graded, etc, etc,
etc. I'll do all this for the free vseminar next week when I go over one
of the new TS labs.
As a side note I think that most people need to practice building a
network this size (28 routers and 4 switches) a few times before starting
to troubleshoot one. I'm going to include the base configurations free of
charge for the new TS labs so people can do just that. But I won't have a
step by step handholding guide on how to build it because if you're ready
for the real lab you should be able to look at the diagram and know what
needs to be configured to obtain end to end reachability.
