Cheap would not necessarily best, especially on the long term.

I have heard good things about the Aruba solution (not worked with it
though) but Cisco also has a good story for this solution. Its still
maturing though.

Long term, especially if you have Cisco devices within your network, I
would stick with Cisco, mainly because the solution (naturally) would have
alot of proprietary extensions of protocols, which makes it vendor specific.

Cisco ISE still cannot do on-boarding, but I understand its coming very
soon in the next release. Mobile Iron works well for Apple devices, but not
sure about Android. The profiling mechanism on ISE is excellent and RADIUS
CoA works well for the most access devices (switches and WLC's).

I can only speak for the Cisco side and I would say its coming along very
well. Ofcourse, you need to perform your own POC to really tick off the
boxes.
