The first thing I did on any ticket was turn console and buffered logging
to debug. It was huge help for me to see output. Or check logs while making
changes. I saved as I went, especially after verifying ticket.
One really helpful practice was to test verification on closest destination
router and work back to the source. It made IDing the broken config easier
with respect to which router it was residing on.
