Mangala,
RSVP covers many functions to support integrated services QoS.
But it has come to be a good way of performing just one of them:
admission control.
So there's a way (in 12.4 something) to disable unneeded functions for
it to scale better, like classification and queueing.
The correct configuration depends on what you want RSVP to do. Also keep
in mind the timeframe/feature availability of the guide you look at.
