If you have a good team, managing them isn't difficult. If you don't,
then as a manager, you look to change the team.

Coffee and cake are good, but why in the world would that be expected
just because you sign their timesheets? And what's the point of CCIEs
working for you if you're merely having them do rack and stack work?

I'd venture to say that either working for you wasn't all that
exciting... Or that you seriously got screwed on the caliber of CCIE's
you were hiring. 'cause that's not a scalable model IMHO.
