RE: No prefixes from EIGRP neighbor

Opps sent too soon....

I wonder if that "L2 VPN" is point-to-point pw's and not allowing some
neighbors to send some things to others.....like wondering if the mcast
hellos for neighboring are getting to other neighbors but not some other
route update packets

Not sure, just thinking out loud

Do you have arp entries for all 192.168.251.0/24 interfaces on each and
every router's wan interface ?

Also wondering if the l2vpn pw's are hub/spoked and the hub router is the
one that sees all the neighbors? Do all routers see all neighbors?

Aaron

Subject: No prefixes from EIGRP neighbor

Hi Experts,

We got an new EtherVPN (Layer 2 VPN) network and run EIGRP between all
routers connected to this.
For example: If R1,R2,R3,R4,R5 &R6 are 6 sites, each router is configured
with an IP address from the subnet 192.168.251.0/24 on the
 WAN interface.

If I do a show ip eigrp neighbor on router, I can see all other 5 routers
as the neighbors.

But if I do a show ip eigrp neighbor detail, it doesn't show prefix for
certain neighbors.
For example, if R6 advertises 3 prefixes, I can see them all on R1 but
none on R2.

Our Service Provider mentioned they can't see any fault as we have IP
connectivity between all sites.

 We are using ISR G2 routers (Cisco 2951 & 1921s;
IOS universalk9-mz.SPA.150-1.M4).
Any help with this is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Dee
