Hello all,
Forgive the blatant self promotion, but candidate blogs appear to be a
rite of passage for people studying for their CCIE. I've done
something a little different... I've sequestered myself in a Thailand
beach resort condo for four months to finish up my R&S studies.
I've been here for two weeks and have set up a nice routine which I'll
detail in future posts. But basically it works out to
Concentrate on one topic for three days and hit it from all angles,
audio, reading, videos and labbing
Early morning - Walk/run the beach.. this takes 30-45 minutes and I
listen to mp3 versions of Ruhann's short notes. Probably one of the
best purchases I've made so far for studying and I read the notes into
Audacity to create my own audio clips.
Morning - Read approx 2 hours a day on my Kindle... usually done at the beach
Early afternoon - 1-2 hours - Watch my INE videos (bought the R&S
bundle back in 2009)
Afternoon - Review Ruhann's short notes on my laptop
Late afternoon to sleep - Labbing with INE's workbooks until I conk
out... using "The Thing That Cannot Be Named", GNS3 and rack rentals
