As someone who has a CISSP and currently studying for CCIE R&S, I can
tell you CISSP requires about 5-10% effort relative to CCIE. The test
is geared towards security management, ITIL, etc... it's not a
technical exam.
Steps to passing CISSP and keeping CISSP
1. Read the big gold/blue "All in One" book
2. Make sure you have the necessary experience/domains
3. Take test
4. Get a friend or someone at ISC2 to endorse you
5. Pay the crazy maintenance fee
