Re: Access Concentrator

Hi Alexei,

I guess after reading the document . I understood like the Access
concentrator is nothing but a DSLAM Digital Subscriber Line Access
Multiplexer.
It concentrates every electric signals from the subscriber line ( ie the
user) and then tunnels it towards the Access Server. SO it maintains a
separate connection for a subscriber. The subscriber will have a L2
connection with the DSLAM ( ie the Access Concnetrator) and then the Access
Concentrator will tunnels all the PPP packets towards the server . So the
L2 and PPP endpoints differs for both the devices.

Correct me if i am wrong.
