Stop using subnet calculators and force yourself to do it either in your
head or on paper. Overtime you will learn patterns and shortcuts which will
make converting between binary/decimal/hex instinctive. Being comfortable
with this kind of math is essential for things other than just subnet
calculation. QoS to name another.
