Is your Cisco.com profile associated to a Cisco partner? Be it your
company or your company's client.

If yes, then the CCIE number can have some value to the company. On
the other hand, if the company isn't a partner, the CCIE number is
useless to them (but your knowledge is still useful, of course!) and
your interrogation becomes moot.

As for bootcamps, balance their cost with lab attempts: 20 k would
pay for a lot of attempts! Even 3500 could pay for two attempts.
