Perhaps not what you were looking for, but running a cable out there is
probably your best bet. If you're spending enough time to study for your
CCIE, having to troubleshoot a backdoor connection into your lab - even just
a little - wastes a lot of time. Cat5 is cheap and if it's in the garage,
it doesn't need to be pretty.

If that is 100% not an option, my next suggestion is buying a cheap
residential-grade router off - even used on ebay - put Tomato or DD-WRT on
it, and put it in bridge mode. Then you can plug your lab connection into
one of the "LAN" ports on the router and poof, it's on the wireless
network.
