I would suggest you probably want to take it at least a month before
your exam, and maybe even 2-3 months before your exam. You will be a
bit spent after a boot camp and need time to recover. You also will
probably identify areas that need more work and so you should leave
yourself the time to put in the work. I took my last bootcamp the week
before my first attempt. I wish I had followed my own advice.

Also some people use the boot camp to jump-start their learning, but
the farther along you are with the technologies the more you are
likely to get out of a boot camp.
