Hi Yuri,
People attend bootcamps at various stages of their studies, though generally
it is thought that the most value is towards the end of your studies rather
than near the beginning (or if you're lucky maybe you can attend several
bootcamps, one around your midpoint and one towards the end). I was at
Narbik's bootcamp in May this year and we had a pretty wide mix of students
- a few that had already booked and some that hadn't sat the written yet but
everyone had the fundamentals in hand - the more advanced you are, the more
you will get out of it (e.g. if you had just finished your CCNP and were
interested in the CCIE I think you would need to do a bit more prep work but
since you say you've covered at least one of your work books you should get
good value from the bootcamp)
With the Bootcamps run by Narbik you are able to attend the again for free
(pending available seats) and you just need to access your own lab kit (or
hire from him) I haven't done it myself but there were guys in the camp I
was with that were returns and they seemed to get quite a bit out of the
second round of bootcamp and mentioned that Narbik is continuously fine
tuning his delivery so they didn't hear the same thing as before.
The one piece of advice about Narbik's bootcamp is that you are going to put
a lot of hours in for that week. Even if the course is held in your home
city, I would contemplate staying in a nearby hotel particularly if you live
a fair distance away or rely on public transport - because of this the home
town advantage isn't that big (and can be worse) if you can deal with the
extra cost of flights/hotels I would recommend it and then it opens you up
to other locations besides San Jose. Also, if you are planning on
attending the lab just after the bootcamp - give yourself a few days to
recover and regroup - it will be a great but exhausting experience and if
you need to brush up on some topics after identifying your weak spots, you
will appreciate the time to fine tune things.
I wrote down my bootcamp experience here -

I haven't been to another vendor's bootcamp so I cant comment on them
but
I am sure they are very good, hopefully this discussion will prompt some
people to share their bootcamp experiences too so you can work out what you
want to do.
Cheers,
Adam (still chasing the digits)
