Hanging Terminal Server Ports

Hey guys,

Has anybody here experienced a situation where an access server constantly
"hangs" sessions and you have to go clear the lines ALL the time? I have a
few AS' at the moment and it seems like I have to constantly go clear the
lines for no apparent reason. I will be in a session, and it will just stop
responding completely, so I close the telnet connection to it. When you try
again the line is in use and needs cleared. I don't have the problem on
other 2509's I have configured with the same configuration

This is happening on a 2509 and a 3640 with AS module. I have tried the
following

1) I am 110% sure I have "no exec" on all the lines
2) I have tried configuring tcp keepalives on the AS as a long shot

Here is the configuration of the 2509 -- nothing magical here I just thought
I would ask in case somebody sees something I am missing

line 1 8
 no exec
 transport input telnet
