Using notepad for repetitive configurations is a good strategy, especially
for things like routing protocols and services. But it doesn't work for
everything. It really depends on how the configuration deviates between
devices. Sometimes I find myself spending more time formulating my config in
notepad, then i would have just typing it on the command line.
