What sort of monitoring do you want to do? Fault/Config/Performance
monitoring?
Or are you talking about capturing data from many locations, to run
through an IPS or similar?
Plenty of tools for the first one, the second one is a bit trickier -
usually you end up monitoring specific points in the network, as not
everywhere requires that level of monitoring.
