Well, I found what the basic check was (no version in the config file).
But then, it fails badly on complex voice config:
% Cannot remove controllers this way
% Removal Smart-init will be enabled upon reload.
Also, licenses fail to be removed, and current licenses are S/N tagged.
So this scheme fails if the configuration comes from another box.
I will stick to a reload cycle for the time being :) Thanks anyway!
