Hmmm,
do you usually use config replace ? I have some mixed feelings about it.
I've just checked to see, and this is my first try:

HQ-1#config replace flash:base-confg
This will apply all necessary additions and deletions
to replace the current running configuration with the
contents of the specified configuration file, which is
assumed to be a complete configuration, not a partial
configuration. Enter Y if you are sure you want to proceed. ? [no]: y

%The input file is not a valid config file.

hehe,
that file is exactly what I want, and in fact, is what the router has as
a startup config. Seems the code is more intelligent than needed.
