Yes... you can..

Option#1: If you've something in your lab:

You need BER tester (FRAMED one) on one end and other end a loopback RJ45
connector (1,2 t
o 4,5)

Option#2: poorman's tester

As u mention u have 2 port e1/t1

1> Put a loop on A-END - soft (controllere e1>loop or hard loop using a RJ45
connector.
2> on B-END - configure E1/0 port and E1/1 port back2back and connect with a
RJ45 E1 cross over cable (1,2, goes to 4,5). Make sure your clocking is
right. On all 3 E1 ports. YOu may need to generate a clock if it's not
already not plugged into the PABX. Typically one of the PABX will provide
you clock and all your routers will follwo that clock.

When you loop from A end, you will see at NB-end where that loopback cable
connect to physical E1 port on the same router (in our case E1/1) the show
controller e1 will show "UP".

Or there is another basic testing...

assuming you've connected those 2 e1 ports using dial-peers.
then just dial onto other one using csim comand (csim st <remote end DN>
on othe end just turn on the debugging and u should see the call going out
of that E1 pot at other side. this test is same as PING test but verifies
your configuration of dialpeer isdn layers etc.
