IMO the best way to go is to TAKE YOUR TIME on the foundation prep. That
means read the good books from the recommended list, go point by point
through the blueprint and read the docs/lab up each and every technology
and write a short article about it.
Doing the foundation work that way will ensure you know the tech very
well. At that point you can start doing vendor labs to get a handle on
the test skills, which are question comprehension and time management.
You don't want to try to piecemeal knowledge about the technologies
during lab prep, that's why the foundation work is so much more
important.
