There shouldn't be any problem.You can manually syn the configs.
You may need to enter the redundancy mode by typing
(config)#redundancy
(config-red)#main-cpu
(config-x-x)#auto-sync ?
there will be options to sync the startup/running config.
and also make sure you IOS matches in the master and slave.
