Query for IPv6 autoconfig

Hi

I was just learning the autoconfig feature in ipv6. I had checked this by
configuring a IPv6 add on one side and then other side automatically takes
the ipv6 add by the relevent cong.I also checked with multiple prefixes with
ipv6 nd command on ipv6 router.

but while checking this feauter on the Tunnel interface it is not wroking.I
am testing it with a simple gre tunnel.Here is my config.:

int Tu1001
ipv6 add 2002::1/64
tunnel source 4.4.4.4
tunnel destination 5.5.5.5

on other side
int tu1001
ipv6 add autoconfig
tunnel soure 5.5.5.5
tunnel destination 4.4.4.4

what I want is other side should take the ip by autoconfig but this is not
working on tunnel interface.Please help me on this and I am sorry if the
question is having any relevence or not.I had also checked with that ipv6 nd
command on the tunnel interface but still it is not working.
