It's not ctl-x.
It's control caret, followed by x.
Please try this first by telneting to something else and manage to
get back to the router.
What other hardware do you have ? You sure have a serial terminal
emulator, or else you would not be able to configure the 2511, right ?
You have a switch so you can access the 2511 via network ?
Do you have RJ45s or DB25 ? Do you have adapters ? (RJ to DB)
