Hi Routing Freak,
These two protocols share the same concepts.
Some of the functional difference are:
1.
VRRP has a faster timer for its default hello - 1s vs 3s of HSRP, and a
faster hold timer 3s vs 10s of HSRP which means that VRRP has faster
convergence.
2. VRRP uses Virtual MAC address 00-00-5E-00-01-XX while HSRP uses 0000.0c07.acXX.
3. VRRP backup router utilization can be improved by load sharing.
Hope this help
BR,
Vasil

Hey Vasil
thanks for the link
But its nothing useful in that link
One lol :) moment is HSRP is developed one year earlier than VRRP
I want the technical and functional difference between
like the next next hop will be virtual ip or else the physical ip
