I can't say that I know exactly how it was setup, but Cisco uses a method
like this for remote training. They customize a webpage (per user login) on
an ASA that displays a network map with each entity bringing up a reverse
telnet to console or RDP sessions to servers. If you setup basic clientless
SSL on an ASA and enable the telnet and RDP plugins, it should give you a
pretty good idea of what a customized page would need to launch access.
