BGP Timers

Hi Experts,

Am configuring BGP, and I noticed that the convergence time is really slow,
though this increases stability.

Experts, what I want to know is that is it advisable to tweak this timers in
the real lab environment so that if there is any break, you will notice
early and fix it. And when you are done with your bgp sessions, u revert the
timers back to its default if necessary.
