Hi guys,
I found a tip about tweaking the idlemax value to 100 which drastically
decreases the CPU load. With it enabled I can run the full INE topology in
Windows 7 on my laptop, without it I can't even start all the routers. When
it is enabled I have about 20-40% CPU-load. I can't really find a good
description of what this really does.
According to Greg:" idlemax is the number of times that the code executes
the address defined as the idlepc value before going to sleep. The default
is 1500 times."
Are any of you other guys running this and have you seen any implications of
doing it? Thanks in advance.
/Daniel
