10GE twinX is smart design - learn from mistake, remember people pulling
cat5 cable more than recommended (100+) meters and then complaining that
switch is not powerful enuf?
well, with 10 gig twinX - there are no option but go for either one. If you
go your "CUSTOM" one, cisco might not support that.
upto 5 mtr = use passive one
upto 7 mtrs= use active one.
BTW, I have tested 10meters passive twinX between N5K and UCS chassis and it
worked perfectly.
I guess, there could be llimitations or things like Cisco won't support it
if there are blah..blah...
