I have never seen this work. I have tried with both QEMU Manager and VMware
with 4.8.0 and the nac software crashes and causes a reboot. Do you have an
actual vmware config file that shows how you got it to work? I do know that
it is supported to be installed on a vmware env as the installer script to
upgrade beyond 4.6 references VMware / QEMU in it when it checks the BIOS
information.
Thanks,
Travis

Amin, you can download images from CCO and request trial license from
www.cisco.com/go/license. Install under vmware workstation (both NAM and NAS
would need about ~700-800 MB ram, each). Works fine, can be integrated with
dynamips, etc. You can easily create in-band topology with ASA for remote
access. for OOB, it will be complicated, because you have to integrate you
comp with external Cat switch, probably via 802.1q from comp to switch.
