This is way off topic from our CCIE studies (main reason we are all here),
and you should place on the email tittle: OT prior any topic as such.

That being said, my suggestions is as follows:

I don't see why you would like to use a twinax cable between the the two
10GE interfaces. With the Catalyst 2960 supporting SFP+ and the Catalyst
4900M supporting X2 (on the baseboard) simply use an fiber cable with LC and
SC connectors at each end. SC for the X2 and LC for SFP+. Make sure the
transceivers and fibers correspond.. so i.e multimode cable = multimode
transceivers at each end.

Simple enough...
