PortChannel down - down

Etherchannel down

I am running on dynamips.......SW2&SW4 portchannel down..

portchannel is configured..

but when i try to put trunk ports i am getting following errors
*Either port* is *L2 and port*-*channel* is *L3*, or vice-versa.

and if do no switchport on these and then add to channel grp its nt allwng
any command

is this dynamips behaviour?
