Hello,
I'm trying to understand why in MPLS using LDP you need a host route (/32)
to the LDP router ID, can anyone explain or point me somewhere?

Rack1R5#sh mpls ldp discovery detail
 Local LDP Identifier:
    150.1.5.5:0
    Discovery Sources:
    Interfaces:
        Serial0/0/1 (ldp): xmit/recv
            Enabled: Interface config
Hello interval: 5000 ms; Transport IP addr: 150.1.5.5
LDP Id: 155.1.146.4:0; no host route to transport addr
  <-----no host route
Src IP addr: 155.1.45.4; Transport IP addr: 155.1.146.4
Hold time: 15 sec; Proposed local/peer: 15/15 sec
              Reachable via 155.1.146.0/24

Thanks in advance for any help.

Tom
