I've used earplugs during my exam in Brussel and it was no issue using
them. When you sit in the noise for a few hours straight you might
loose focus some energy. The buildings airco units made quite some
noise during the lab and you don't hear much from our CCIE Voice
candidates ;)
I am sure the earplugs saved me in the last 2 hours as it kept me
focussed for the full 8 hours. Definatly worth the 2 euro/dollars. :)

Headsets would not be allowed! :)
