Hi Faisal,
What you're interested in is what change to an older version of 802.1d came
from 802.1t. My understanding of the MAC Address Reduction piece is that it
focuses on a MAC per chassis rather than MAC per port for the Bridge ID and
not really something that can be disabled on modern switches.
