Guys,
Just got my IDS 4235 from Ebay. POwered it on and 20 minutes my neighbor
though that the bloody carpet cleaner with Genset has came in middle of
might and started knocking on my door.

Opened it up and saw there are about 5 FANS inside the IDS box.

I took all 6 FANs out and it was running like 1800 series router (no noise).

Soon after 5 minutes I realised that the heat sink got soooooo hot that I
couldn't touch it.

Then I put back a single FAN just near the heat sink and it has cooled it
down. I think 1 fan should be enough but again this bloody fan is soooo
noisy even it's just a single. It's high frequency one.

This is the one that i am talking about:

Need your help:

1. Do you think one FAN should be okay - as there is no production load on
the box. it's just for my lab play. In production environment I won't do it.
I'd recommend vendor recommendations and design.

2. Any other similar fan make/model (cheap one) that you could suggest ,
obvious quiter one :)

I am still googling though. tomorrow will go to a computer market to see if
there is any.
