When you're full time job is to get ccie and you are paid for it, for test lab and rest, what's left? Your brains ability to show its worth. But, when you have to work full time, study after that, pay for lab test equipment, pay for written, pay for lab test (lucky if you pass 1st attempt), list goes on, THAT is effort.
That is what makes it challenging and expensive!!!
As far as material goes... When I did my ccna back in 2001, there wasn't much but people still got their ccie... How? What material did they use? I would love them to answer that.
